POLICIES

Our policies have been implemented to create mutual respect between client + artist and it’s vital that both parties follow through with expectations. These policies are non-negotiable in order to maintain your hair journey at The Hive Salon and Spa.

Please read through and understand these policies prior to booking with us!

Cancellation Policy

Please give us at least 72 HOURS NOTICE if you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment. We want our stylists to have enough notice to fill the time. We understand things happen, and people get sick; please give us the courtesy of letting us know in a timely manner.

LATE POLICY

Please arrive at your appointment in a timely manner, if you know you will be running 15 minutes, or later please call the salon to see if it will cause a scheduling conflict with the stylist next guest. We believe every guest deserves our undivided attention at their scheduled appointment.

NO SHOW & LAST-MINUTE CANCELLATION POLICY

In the case you need to move or cancel your appointment within 72 hours before your appointment, a no-show fee will be charged before you are able to book another appointment. Please be advised that at the time of booking, your card will be taken on file to be used if a cancellation fee is owed. You will always be notified by the salon before your card is processed. NO SHOW, NO CALL will be charged 100% of the service. If after three cancellations or three no-call no-shows, you will be unable to book an appointment at the salon.

  • Toner/ Shadow Root / Blowout / Haircut
    • 48 hours before appointment = $10.00
    • 24 hours before appointment = half of what the service was booked for.
    • No show no call = 100% of the service.

  • Color & Brazilian Blowout
    • 48 hours before appointment = $50.00
    • 24 hours before appointment = half of what the service was booked for.
    • No show no call = 100% of the service

  • Extensions
    • 72 hours before appointment = $200.00
    • Deposit = $100.00
    • No show no call = 100% of the service.

(The deposit will go towards your service. This policy is to reserve the time it takes to install extensions and to protect the stylist and the client. If you cancel after 72 hours the deposit is nonrefundable).

In the event that your stylist must cancel your appointment the day of, the client will receive 20% off the cancelled service at your rescheduled appointment.

CHILDREN

As we are a family-owned business and respect things happen, please contact the salon or your stylist if you are unable to find child care for your appointment. We ask that if your appointment is a chemical service, please refrain from bringing children. Stylists have sharp scissors/razors, hot tools that reach up to 450* degrees and higher, and professional-grade chemicals throughout the salon. This is so our guests have the most relaxing experience. This does not apply to children who have a haircut appointment with us. Thank you for understanding.  

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Hair color clients must be 13 years or older.  

Extension clients must be 18 years or older.

Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully. When signing our form, you are agreeing to the terms below.
 
The cost of hair extensions will have to be paid for prior to the appointment install.
 
A $100 reservation fee is due upon booking a hair extension install service when purchasing hair. The $100 will go towards your install appointment if not canceled or moved, within a 72-hour period.
 
The $100 reservation fee policy is in place to reserve the time on your stylist’s book, due to the fact hair extensions take up most of the day.
 
If you need to move or cancel your hair extension install please give a notice of 72 hours to do so.
 
If the hair extension install is moved or canceled after the 72-hour window, the reservation fee will no longer go towards your service, and another $100 will be due to book another install appointment.
 
ALL SALES OF HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE FINAL.

PAYMENT/ GRATUITY/ REFUNDS

We accept cash, major credit cards, Apple Pay, and gift cards. With all credit card transactions, there is an added 2.6% processing fee to your total. No checks will be accepted. Any service or purchase over $700, will need to have a photo ID scan. To avoid the processing fee, cash would be the best option. A service refund is subject to the situation and approved solely through Management. All hair extension purchases are final. If the client no longer wishes to have the hair extensions installed, the client is responsible for the hair extensions. If we cannot come to a mutual understanding about an unfortunate experience, a 50% refund will then be an option. The management team, here at The Hive Salon & Spa, never wants clients to feel like their investment is not what they had envisioned.
