Kati graduated from Stage One Hair school in 2019 and truly found her passion in hair and everything cosmetology. Kati opened The Hive Salon & Spa in April 2022.
The Hive is her 3rd baby since she is already a mother of two kids (Zoe & Cooper). Kati is all about giving her crew love and encouragement. The crew at The Hive are a family and love to support each other.
Some of Kati’s specialties are balayage, highlights, color, and cuts of all kinds! Kati attended the Hair Dreams class in California and became certified in techniques to give women confidence after experiencing hair loss.
When Kati isn’t behind the chair, she is with her two babies, husband Sean, and friends. Kati is always cooking with friends and family and loves football season. She loves to travel and doesn’t sit still for too long… she is always on the go. Kati was born and raised in Lake Charles, so SWLA runs through her blood through and through. Sheri is a graduate of Stage One, The Hair School in Lake Charles, La. She has been in the cosmetology industry for 24 years. As Manager of The Hive Salon & Spa, Sheri is a Master Stylist.
A native of Lake Arthur, LA, Sheri began her career in the Lake Arthur/Jennings area. There, she built her foundation and grew her skills for four years before moving to Lake Charles. For the past 20 years, in Lake Charles, Sheri has acquired a loyal clientele and built relationships and trust with her clients, while learning new skills along the way. She has continued to remain educated on the latest and ever-evolving trends in the beauty industry. In her repertoire, Sheri holds certifications in hand tied weft extensions, Brazilian Blowout smoothing system and Keratherapy treatments, along with balayage, highlighting and a wide range of cutting techniques.
When Sheri is not behind the chair, you can find her relaxing on the beach, traveling and exploring new places, listening to live music or attending concerts. Family is very important to Sheri and time spent with them brings her joy.
Sheri has found her home at The Hive Salon & Spa, where she loves sharing her knowledge and skills with each of The Hive team members. She has a desire to push, accelerate and help each of them grow to be successful in their careers.
Lauren has been with the Hive Salon and Spa since it opened 1 1/2 years ago. She prides herself on being a team player. She is 23 years old and hails from right here in beautiful Lake Charles.
She graduated from cosmetology school in July of 2020 and barber school November 2020.
Lauren’s passion is centered around barbering and doing beautiful extensions.
Outside of the salon Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her cat Cosmo, and working at her church nursery on Sundays.
She is looking forward to helping you with all your hair needs.
Chesney graduated from Stage One in July 2022 and joined The Hive family in November 2022.
She is our curl specialist and is certified in the KC texture, curl-enhancing keratin treatment. She’s passionate about everything hair but especially curly hair cutting and coloring, color corrections, and vivids! In addition to curls, if you need a perm, she’s your girl! Chesney embraces building a relationship with everyone who sits in her chair. She always aims to have her clients smiling and feeling better about themselves each time they leave the salon.
When she isn’t working behind the chair or behind the scenes, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, going to the gym, painting, and exercising her green thumb. Her books are open, so treat your hair with proper care and have a seat in Chesney’s chair!
Chloe is a 20-year-old stylist from Kinder, LA. She graduated from cosmetology school in March 2023 with a passion for hair and is a great addition to The Hive!
Chloe loves all things hair but finds herself particularly drawn to blonding services. Highlights, balayage, toners, she loves making those locks shine.
When Chloe is not brightening up hair she enjoys cooking and playing with her dogs. Get in her chair and let her work her magic!
Debbie started her career in Roswell, NM, and after 10 years, took it to Destin, FL for 18 more years, then on to Austin, TX for 9 years, and has now brought her 36 years of experience and training to beautiful Lake Charles.
She loves the opportunity to build relationships while delivering exceptional colors and cuts designed to fit your unique needs and lifestyle.
She is passionate about continuing education and staying current with trends while also maintaining a solid grasp of all she’s learned throughout her career.

Lainey is 20 years old and a 2021 honor graduate of Sulphur High School. She then graduated The Ritz Academy’s cosmetology program in January of 2023. She is a brilliantly talented lash, brow, and makeup specialist, and is passionate about all things beauty! She shines above all others with her amazing eyelash extensions and is ready to work her magic here in the lake area. Outside of the salon Lainey loves to cook all things cajun and spend time with her loved ones.
